VFA Appoints New Head of Sales

Sales Veteran, Richard Underwood, to Focus on Driving Continued Growth

BOSTON, MA – July 8, 2008 – VFA, Inc. the leading provider of solutions for facilities capital planning and asset management, announced that Richard Underwood has joined the company as Vice President of Sales.  Tony Florence, former Vice President of Sales at VFA, has assumed the newly created position of Vice President of Strategic Corporate Accounts. 

As Vice President of Sales, Underwood will have worldwide responsibility for new business development, account management and sales operations.

Underwood has nearly 30 years of sales and sales management experience, including significant expertise selling enterprise solutions.  Since 2005, he served as Executive Vice President, Sales at SoundBite Communications, which completed an initial public offering in 2007.  At SoundBite, Underwood was responsible for quintupling annual sales revenue in less than three years.  Prior to SoundBite, Underwood was Executive Vice President at Moldflow Corporation, where he helped to take the company public and oversaw a 230% increase in revenue over his seven year tenure.  He has also held senior sales management positions at Parametric Technology, Inc. and Prime Computer
