Following the conference, a one day software training session is available to VFA Connections participants at a discounted rate. The course will be held at a a training center in downtown Boston, within a short distance of the Renaissance Boston Waterfront.

Training Session Description

VFA.facility: Intensive Refresher (full day)

This fast-paced one-day course will provide an overview of the functionality of and concepts behind VFA.facility, including the Asset, Funding, Project, Reports and Import Modules.  It will include a discussion of asset data entry and management strategies, as well as a review of data analysis techniques though reporting, ad hoc querying, project planning and funding scenarios.

Prerequisites: Participants should possess basic Internet and Microsoft Windows navigation skills, have previously used Microsoft Word and Excel or similar programs, have an understanding of basic concepts of facility management, and be familiar with cost estimation concepts.

Course fees include copy of user manual and supplemental materials.

Prerequisites: Participants must have attended VFA 101/201 or equivalent. Participants should be comfortable with basic Internet and Microsoft Windows navigation skills and familiar with Microsoft Excel.
